Born in Nagano, Japan. I live and work in London. For the last few years I have developed my art practice mainly in film, video and installation and shown my work internationally.
I have investigated my my specific concerns towards perception and sensation, which occur subconsciously within our bodies and minds.
My idea is often influenced by my own emotional and also sensual experiences and try to convey them through moving images and installation. I always try to create something which would evoke a sense of tactility within our bodies in order for viewers to be engaged with it visually but also physically.
My filmmaking often involves liquid as well as handcraft with cardboard boxes, plastic sheets, fabric and paper clay in order to create model sets.
